  1. G says: Speaking of investments... we as a people who are responsible for our official politicians, should start looking into what they are investing in. It seems to me (and I might be wrong) that it is not only the oil companies that are taking advantage of the people but also the politicians. The majority of them do not pay for gas as we do...we pay for their gas (ain't that the hoop ti do of the century). Wake up America learn the signs of being raked over the coals by friend and foe alike. If you say that your vote counts...then count it and see where you really stand! Don't get mad...get even. Learn what your politicians know and you will have a better understanding of the their blatent corruption to the people. We agreed by vote to put these people in office, look around and tell me your vote is working.
  2. rpc4005 says: Everyone should boycott EXXON. They treat the earth like it's going to be there forever
  3. alyssa says: Lukoil is a rip off. The gas station on RT. 208 was charging $3.87/gallon. The one on Goffle Road in Hawthorne was charging $3.95 and the one on the corner of Goffle Rd and Wagraw Rd was charging $3.81! It seems to me that Lukoil is charging based upon the town's "worth" rather than an adherence to pricing policy. I can't understand why people aren't more up in arms about this. Why is no one protesting the fact that the oil companies raked in multi-billion dollar profits while still collecting an $18 billion subsidy from the US Government. The oil companies state that they need those subsidies to upgrade and maintain the infrastructure, however, the refineries damaged by Hurricane Katrina still have not been repaired. This is a travesty. Where is the outrage or are people to interested in what's on television and who the next American Idol will be?
